Moonstruck!
Moonstruck! is Friday, Sept. 7.  It's time to get your teams, sponsors and auction donations for our Moonstruck golf tournament.  Chair Rachel Hughes has announced that if our event raises $30,000, an anonymous donor has offered to match that amount!  Imagine how far $60,000 could go both for Dodge Nature Center and for our Club!  The Display Board of guilt and shame is back so make sure you earn your stars!!   What can you do?
  • Get teams and sponsors
  • Sell beer and wine raffle tickets (see Bob)
  • Bring in beer and wine so that we have something to raffle off
  • Collect silent auction and live auction items and deliver them to Pres. Bridget
  • Get trinkets for the golfer goodie bags and give them to Dave H.
We are asking everyone to bring in $500-$1,000 worth of "stuff" and we will easily meet our goal. If you have any questions, contact Rachel. (<---- click there)
Strive
At our regular meeting on August 8, we will be hearing from a 5960 District leader who has experience starting a Strive program, which is where Rotarians are mentors to high school students.  You don't have to be great at math to be a mentor to students who just want an adult who has been there, done that.  After hearing the presentation, if you are interested in donating some of yourself to the future of our youth, feel free to stay after the meeting and find out how we can set up our own Strive program.
