We have several upcoming opportunities to help serve so pay attention: - Thu., Oct. 5 - Loaves & Fishes. Click on the link on the Events Calendar to get the details, but the summary is that we need people there by 3:30 to help prepare the meal, people there by 4:30 to help serve the meal and people there at 5:30 to help clean up after the meal. It is rewarding, it is valuable, it is our obligation. We need people to commit and to do it! If you've never gone before, don't be scared! There are plenty of friends who know the ropes and will walk you through it! Just give it a try!
- Sat., Oct. 14 - Neighbors Inc. Inventory Day. I know we typically do this in January, but they asked for help and we said YES! Show up around 8:30 a.m. at Neighbors Inc. in SSP and we will put you to work counting stuff! All you need are fingers and toes.
- Tues., Oct. 31 - Loaves & Fishes. See #1 above. Did I mention? It is rewarding, it is valuable, it is our obligation.
- I NEED CANDY! Also on Tuesday, Oct. 31, we will be handing out candy to our 1,000 trick-or-treaters that attend the Great Halloween Get Together in SSP! So, I need at least 1,000 pieces of candy! Please start bringing in candy this week!
