LIVE and in person meetings at Southview start on Wed. May 12!! We are going to meet every other week for May, June and July so on the Speaker list you will see that it now states whether the meeting is at Southview or only on Zoom. The really good news - is that we are going to try the hybrid approach. The District gave grants for clubs to purchase the technology to do Zoom meetings as part of the LIVE meetings. So, if you can't be at Southview because you're in the Florida or Arizona or the South of France (hypothetically), then you can still attend via Zoom! Because of the real economics of meeting at Southview (room fee/minimum meal fee) we have to charge all Club members $30/month for these three months. Even if you don't eat, can't be there, whatever, it's an extra $30/month for everyone. Dates for meetings only conflict on one date with Southview's already scheduled events so we made a slight adjustment and here's the current plan: May 12 - Southview May 19 - Zoom May 26 - Southview June 2 - Zoom June 9 - Southview June 16 - Zoom June 23 - Southview June 30 - Southview July 7 - Zoom July 14 - Southview July 21 - Zoom July 28 - Southview We will try to make it really clear each week so no one gets confused. If you log in to Zoom and you see us sitting at Southview, you'll know you messed up. It's ok, you can show up in your yoga pants and slippers.  |
