Two events coming this week: 

#1 - Loaves & Fishes October 31st.  3:30p to 6:30p.

#2 - November 1, raffle drawing, 7:30a at the Copperfield.

The board met on October 17th and here's some of the highlights:

1 - Discussed several funding requests:  Town Square TV, YMCA, and Somerset School inclusive playground.  Approved $500 for Two Rivers Student Council Harvest Pack event.

2 - Loaves and Fishes is October 31st and December 7th.

3 - Alan Ruvelson & Jennifer Giovinazzo will develop a membership recruitment and retention plan.

4 - David Miller and wife Vickie will host a club social on December 14th.  Bring a friend.

5 - We are going to request 4 or 5 families this year for Neighbor's Inc. Holiday Gift Program.  Gift wrapping at December 6th meeting.

6 - Because of Thanksgiving, November 22nd meeting has been moved to the Copperfield.

Our speaker last week was Dakota County Regional (DCR) Chamber president Jon Althoff.  Jon liked being the Interim president so much that he decided to take on the presidency!  The DCR operates in several Dakota County cities.  For example West St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Eagan, Rosemount, Farmington, Empire, Hampton, etc.  The DCR has held an important role in the community for over 65 years.  There mission has always been to maintain a strong partnership with businesses and community partners to promote, support, and enhance business prosperity, civic vitality and the quality of life in Dakota County.  Thank you Jon for your enthusiastic report on DCR activities.  Pictured with Jon (right) is Rotarian Ben Kusch.

The board would like to have a local businesses present a 3 minute introduction to their company at each meeting.

Please let Dave Hanson know if you get someone and he'll add to the schedule.

One 3 minute presentation at each meeting would be the goal.
