We have several upcoming opportunities to help serve so pay attention and we also have upcoming events: - Sat., Oct. 14 - Neighbors Inc. Inventory Day. I know we typically do this in January, but they asked for help and we said YES! Show up around 9:30 a.m. at Neighbors Inc. in SSP and we will put you to work counting stuff! All you need are fingers and toes.
- Tues., Oct. 17 - Board meeting. We have a Board meeting at 7:30 a.m. at Southview. No idea what's on the agenda but I'm sure it will be good.
- Tues., Oct. 31 - Loaves & Fishes. Click on the link on the Events Calendar to get the details, but the summary is that we need people there by 3:30 to help prepare the meal, people there by 4:30 to help serve the meal and people there at 5:30 to help clean up after the meal. Thanks to all 19 of you who helped on the 5th - please come back! It is rewarding, it is valuable, it is our obligation. We need people to commit and to do it!
- I NEED CANDY! Also on Tuesday, Oct. 31, we will be handing out candy to our 1,000 trick-or-treaters that attend the Great Halloween Get Together in SSP! So, I need at least 1,000 pieces of candy! Please bring me candy!
- Wed., Nov. 1 - The District Governor is Coming. The District Governor will be our speaker at our meeting on Wed., Nov. 1. It's quite an event and an honor so please plan on attending and please, for once, be on your best behavior. Please? A short Board meeting will follow the regular meeting to meet and greet the District Governor.
