There is a Board meeting THIS Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at Southview.  We will be considering the membership application of Connie Roehrich, which will again complete the trifecta - we will have a prosecutor, judge and a warden in the Club!
Marv is now forming his Committees for Moonstruck and will be looking for volunteers!  (please don't avoid his phone calls) He is preparing the Entry Form and solicitation letter, which will be posted on the website as soon as they are available.  Here are the main committees:
  • Silent Auction
    • Barricade of Beer
  • Dessert Auction
  • Southview Coordinator
  • Gift Bags (Dave Hanson)
  • Wine Raffle (Bob)
  • Volunteer Sign-Up/Coordinator
  • Supplies (Kori)
If you have an interest in being on one of these committees, please contact Marv. (click on his name)

The new Speaker Assignment List has just been released for the new Rotary Year, which starts July 1!  Click here to find out your assigned month.  You have a team of people for your month so please coordinate with each other.  If you will be out of town, out of the country or otherwise unable to fulfill your speaker assignment duties for your month, please switch with someone else and let the Secretary know.

Here's the process:
  1. Find a speaker for a date in your assigned month; coordinate with your other team members so you don't double-book a date
  2. Check the Speaker calendar on the website to make sure there isn't a special speaker/event that has already taken a Wed. in your month
  3. Let Secretary (Kori) know (in advance) the following things:
    • name of speaker
    • the topic
    • whether there are any technology or other needs (screen, projector, lap top)
  4. Follow up with your speaker prior to the date to confirm they are coming, they know the time, location, etc.
  5. On the appointed date, you are responsible for doing the invocation for that meeting (or asking someone to do it for you).
  6. If appropriate, ask your speaker to bring 100 trinkets, gimmicks, or other marketing items from their organization to put in our Moonstruck golfer goodie-bags
