Placer County Transportation

As the Executive Director of the Placer County Transportation Agency, Mike is responsible for planning, designing and building a resilient transportation network for the Placer region.  Mike comes to PCTPA with more than 30 years of experience in local government. Most recently, Mike served as the Deputy Director of the Yolo County Transportation District. Mike has also worked in transportation planning and economic development for the Cities of West Sacramento and Sacramento, Yolo County, and as the Director of the Port of West Sacramento. Mike and his family have lived in South Placer County for the last 25 years. Mike began his career working on the original plans for Stanford Ranch in Rocklin. 

Mike will share with us information relating to the widening of Highway 65, the remaining phases of the I-80/Highway 65 interchange improvement project, the expansion of senior and disabled transit, and the Highway 49 improvements dthat are currently a few of the high priority projects in our region.
