Rocklin Public Safety Foundation

Rich was born, raised, and educated in Southern California.  He graduated from CSULA with a BS in Industrial Psychology, worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 35 years, and retired in 2002.  Rich moved to the Bay Area in 1969 with his first promotion and lived in Saratoga for 30 years.  Married for 56 years (same wife) with two children (one of each) and six grandchildren.  After retiring, he sought something meaningful to do besides playing golf and tennis.  Rich joined the first Rocklin Volunteer Academy in 2002 and has been involved in Rocklin as a volunteer ever since. Volunteering is an avocation practiced his entire adult life.  He joined the Rocklin Public Safety Foundation as a means to engage further in the communtion.  Rich finds volunteering not only rewarding but also fun to feel like he is contributing to make his hometown a great place to live.
