Placer SPCA Wags & Walk Saturday, October 10 We’ll have a Rocklin Rotary booth at the event and need volunteers to help with setup, staffing, and teardown. Rotary Booth Volunteer Opportunities: There are also opportunities to volunteer directly with the Placer SPCA, including morning setup and helping direct vendors to their assigned booth spaces. Because of the early program start, SPCA volunteers need to arrive between 5:30–5:45 AM. Yes… that is technically morning! Whether you want to help at our Rotary booth or volunteer directly with the SPCA, please reach out to Chris. |

RockPAL Cornhole Tournament Sunday, October 18 Rocklin Rotary will once again provide the fencing for this annual RockPAL event. That means we get the glamorous job of putting it up—and then taking it down! Volunteer Opportunities: We’ll be using the Brewfest fencing stored in the container. Contact Ken if you can help with. It’s a great way to support RockPAL, help make the event run smoothly, and get a little Rotary muscle-building workout in the process.

Veterans Day Service Project Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day The Placer County Veterans Monument’s Veterans Day event is one of their largest annual community gatherings, and they are looking for volunteers to help prepare the site alongside several other local volunteer organizations. Volunteer Details Location: Meet at the Veterans Hall in Lincoln and travel together to McBean Park Monument Start Time: 8:00 AM Volunteers Needed: 5 Rotarians Estimated Completion: 10:30 AM What Will We Be Doing? This is a great hands-on service project and a meaningful opportunity for Rocklin Rotary to help honor the men and women who have served our country. We only need five volunteers, so this is a great chance to jump in, lend a hand, and represent Rocklin Rotary on Veterans Day. And who knows—you may even discover that your hidden talent is chair assembly! Please reach out to Pranil to volunteer or to get additional information about the project. We have a fantastic lineup of service opportunities this fall, and I appreciate all of you who continue to give your time and energy to make a difference in our community. Let’s honor our veterans the Rotary way—by showing up, pitching in, and getting the job done! |
