Rocklin Police Chief Butler joins South Placer Rotary Club!
 

Police Chief Chad Butler spoke to our club today. He explained the rewards and challenges of being a police chief and the difficulty to please everybody. Chief Butler also mentioned that Rocklin has over 1500 stop signs - it is unlikely that a police car will be present to catch each offender!

William 'Willy' Duncan Speaks to South Placer

William Duncan, President Sierra College, spoke to our club about the evolution of Sierra College from about 2000 students to over 20,000 students and the need to modernize a campus over 60 years old. He explained why it is so important that Measure E passes.

I was reminded of a quote "A man is never as tall as when he kneels to help a child". As Rotarians we have an advantage to help others, especially children. Remember, the money we have raised from the Brewfest and how many children we have helped in the past. Now think how many more we can help in the future.
