2019 Demotion Dinner
Our 2019 Demotion BBQ was held on Wednesday, July 10 at the home of Mark and Demaris Schlueter. Our gracious hosts treated us to an amazing backyard venue that was coupled with refreshing drinks and an amazing BBQ prepared by our very own Ken Hubert.
The event, with 42 Rotarians and their guests in attendance, proved to be a fun and relaxing evening. We had the opportunity to thank outgoing President Ron Adams for his hard work and tireless service during the past year. Additionally, recognition was provided to Rob Angell and Scott Yuill for their outstanding service throughout year which, as was noted, made a clear and lasting difference.
Official recognition of our 2019-2020 President, Ken Broadway, closed out the evening. We have a great year of service both locally and globally planned and the club is clearly looking forward to an exciting and service filled year.
In closing, we want to again say a special thank you to Mark and Demaris Schlueter as well as Ken Hubert for all their hard work making this an unforgettable Demotion BBQ.
