An inside look at the Superior Court System

In 2012, after serving sixteen years on the Superior Court, Judge Brian R. Van Camp (Ret.) commenced serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and judicial referee, specializing in broad business, employment, commercial and real property areas of the law. Lawyers describe Judge Van Camp as well prepared, professional, an empathetic listener and a creative and innovative problem-solver. Attorneys surveyed voted him one of the top Mediators and/or top Arbitrators for Sacramento Magazine’s 2015, 2016, and 2017 annual “Best of…” lists.

Since becoming a full-time neutral, Judge Van Camp has successfully mediated, arbitrated and/or presided over cases with a focus on business disputes, break-ups and sales, employment wrongful termination, real estate sales and leases, partners’ and shareholders’ actions, professional malpractice, construction defects, software design or licensing, elder-abuse, insurance coverage, and intra-governmental disputes and class actions.
