Did you know?
1 in 3 families struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their babies clean, dry, and healthy.
Sierra College students balancing school, work, and family often face even greater challenges in meeting these basic needs.

You can help!
We’re collecting:

• Diapers (sizes 1–5)
• Baby formula (Similac, Enfamil, Good Start, Earth’s Best, etc.)
• Wipes
• Monetary donations (for diaper/formula purchases)

Drop-off locations:

• South Placer Rotary Club lunches/meetings
• VScore Inc – 5716 Lone Tree Blvd, Rocklin, CA 95765

(A large donation box will be available for drop off of items)

• Broadway Residence – 2004 Denton Ct, Rocklin, CA 95765

All diapers and formula collected will be delivered to the Sierra College Basic Needs Center to support student parents.

 Sock Drive

Socks are one of the most needed—but least donated—items at local shelters.
This year, we’re collecting men’s, women’s, and kids’ socks for distribution through:
The Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, benefiting Lighthouse, KidsFirst, Stand Up Placer, and other local partners.

Drop socks off at:

 Last year, we collected over 298 pairs—let’s beat that in 2025!

The Aerospace Museum project involves RUSD middle school students who are part of the school's STEAM program.  Students participate in a docent-led tour of the California Aerospace Museum.  The project represents an educational experience where students are guided through an aerospace museum by knowledgeable docents (volunteer guides). The tour is designed to engage students in the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) by exploring the history, technology, and science of aerospace.  Rotarians join in the docent-led tours and assist in providing a pizza lunch to the students, which is followed by a talk with a guest speaker.  The guest speakers are generally representatives from the aerospace industry and/or military.  

The tour date this year is scheduled on Wednesday, November 12^th.  Tour details are as follows:

Time: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

Description: Tour of the museum with docents and a presentation from an aviator (Rotary Club coordinates scheduling of presenter) to 60 RUSD middle school STEAM students.  Lunch is served with Rotary Club bringing in pizza.

The South Placer Rotary hosts an Annual Christmas Basket Program each holiday season. We assemble and distribute bags filled with toys, clothing, essentials, and even gift cards to approximately 15–20 families in need

Antelope Creek Breakfast with Santa is an annual event held at one of Rocklin’s Title 1 schools to provide families with a holiday-themed breakfast and meet Santa Claus. A grant is provided to the school annually, and Rotarians are provided with the opportunity to assist with check-in or other associated activities during the event.

Join us for the 17th annual Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival at beautiful Quarry Park! Come gather with us and enjoy a holiday market to support local crafters and artisans, tasty food trucks, live entertainment with local artists and troupes, a visit with Santa, and more! The event starts at 4 p.m., with the tree lighting ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
