Comments from our Guests and Members
Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you send us your comments please?
I did the meeting and watched the program on the future of the world with 10 billion people. My sympathies tend to lie with the "wizards", and not the "prophets". One need only see how Zimmermann's theory of the "phantom pile" has proved to be correct in the 20th and 21st centuries, to understand that the future of mankind, which is special on this Earth, will be safeguarded by our technological and scientific ability to use resources more efficiently, and thus provide for humanity's needs. As Rotarians, we appreciate this more than most - witness the success of our achievements with polio eradication, and our many water and micro-farming projects...
Delwen Stander, Rotary E-Club of Canada One, D-5370
I enjoy the opportunity to hear of other people's ideas and the different means of remaining an informed Rotarian when away from my own club. Different perspectives always seem to give me a boost.
Wayne Lannon, RC of Westlock, Alberta, D-5370
Attended weekly online meeting of Canada One featuring Jennifer Jones talking on End Polio Now. As we approach the start of 2019, may this be the year we complete our promise to the children of the world and End Polio for good.
Keith Evans, Rotary E-Club of Canada One, D-5370
