Comments from our Guests and Members
Members and guest attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you send us your comments please?

I most enjoyed listening to how passionate Ms. Rita Pierson was about teaching. "No significant learning can come without significant relationships." This is so true. Kids need to learn at a young age how important the power of relationships are, and how much they affect our character.
Every child deserves a champion, an adult who never gives up on them and who understands the power of connection and insists that they can be the best they can be.
Being a coach, I can very much relate to Ms. Pierson in when she says teaching and learning bring joy. The coaches, teachers, and other adult figures make such an impact on kids at young ages, and it is up to us to impact them in a positive and productive manner.

Caroline Miler, Summerville Evening Rotary Club, D-7770

The message was so true and he had a brilliant way of delivering
I woud like to share the concept of personal engagement - something I truly believe in and miss.

Wendy Giuffre, RC of Calgary South, D-5360

In Matika's talk, one line stood out: Intelligence is knowledge with wisdom.  This is true in all cultures and she referred to it in the native culture where she was presenting, changing ways of how we see Native Americans.  I think, if we apply this, it helps us all understand each other better.
Phyllip Pressey, RC of London South, D-6330

I liked Juan Carlos Reyes about his visit to northern Quebec and living with and hearing the history of the First Nations living in that region.
