Greeter this week: Pierre Jarnac Henry

A peaceful and quiet village Subirana, Honduras, is a village located in the municipality of Yoro, with a distance of 37 kilometers from the county seat. It is located on a plateau 850 meters above sea level. It is peaceful, but with great problems of poverty. Many young people are in poverty, without jobs or income -generating economic activity. However, community leaders have decided to act to resolve the multiple problems prevalent in the area, particularly the problem of drinking water as priority number 1. There are problems of health and hygiene due to lack of water and health education. Several people use backwaters to drink. They have requested support to make the Subirana Water Project a reality. I have requested support of the Rotary E-Club of Canada One, and currently it´s our great ally for achieving financing, and making our dream a reality.

DNA reveals the multigenerational interrelationships between people. Knowledge of this cultural diversity is important in helping people understand how interdependent we are.
Wayne Ayling, RC of Swan City Grande Prarie, D-5370

You have more relevant content per meeting than 6 months of standard meetings.

"Gabi Ury"
The one of the girl who broke the Guinness world record for the longest women''s abdominal plank. Very inspiring. I noticed the use of  MANY videos, and I think that's a good idea, as people are normally very visual.

Rotary is more than a club, it is a worldwide network of Rotarians sharing ideas and working together for the benefit of those less fortunate.
Our E-Club is part of a District, which covers Northern Alberta, Eastern British Columbia and a small part of Western Saskatchewan. Our District is governed by a District Governor, who uses our model for an example to others, advices us on Rotary policies and participates in our Fellowship.
One of the duties of a DG is to meet with the board of each club and addresses our club members, informing us about Rotary news and our annual Theme.
We are excited to announce, that DG Laura Morie will be meeting with our board on Tuesday, October, 18, prior to our Fellowship Assembly, during which she will make her presentation.
During this Fellowship Assembly we may also hear from Biswanath Chakrabarty who will be on site in India giving us an update on our Education project there.
