My name is Jordan Pind and I am happily your greater today. Whether it's 2am or 11am something that makes this club so special is that everyone can enjoy our clubs engaging meetings. From Asia to Europe you can always have access to us 24/7. Something that I also love about my club is its inclusiveness. This club suits all age ranges including mine (18).

I must say that my club's President continues to impress me with the quality of speakers he finds. I am going to look up what that young lady is doing with herself now and I hope she didn't wake up wanting to go back to teach.

I particularly I enjoyed the recap of the coming year's Rotary Theme and as our organization will hopefully bring Polio to end it helped answer what, as a Rotary member, we can work towards proving service in the future.

SAVING MOTHERS AND CHILDREN
At least 7 million children under the age of five die each year due to malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. To help reduce this rate, we provide immunizations and antibiotics to babies, improve access to essential medical services, and support trained health care providers for mothers and their children. Our projects ensure sustainability by empowering the local community to take ownership of health care training programs.

When Clara Montanez was a student, she never heard the word mentoring. The idea of having a role model help you pursue your ambitions was unfamiliar to her.
"You basically chose your career based on personal interest and hoped you could find a job," says Montanez, senior director of investment for Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. "I went the route of getting married and having children first, and started my career later in life. I had no model for how to do that."
That changed for Montanez the day a friend invited her to join Rotary.
