Greeter this week: Frank Yakimchuk

The great thing about the Rotary E Club, Canada 1 is that you get to visit with fellow Rotarian's in other places, in this case, Yellowknife, NWT.

In the photo, you will see from left to right, Newton, Biswanath and Marc our prospective new member along with me, Frank, the new President.

This depicts' us after a combination Fellowship and Business Meeting at a local eatery, we refer to our group as the YK e-Pod.

Please enjoy our weekly program and if moved, leave a few dollars in the kitty so our  member's can do more good deeds for others.

The short video about the Rotary exchange program was very inspirational. Our club participates in the program. It is interesting watching the students grow and gain confidence during their time spent in our community.

"Norse Video"
I love the geography having spent several weeks in Norway this year.  Discovery will be my focus.

Mary Alice Phelan, RC of South Jacksonville, D-6970

Liked the story about the Challenge Coin - I have a Rotary 4 Way Test one!  The video regarding Rotary membership was extremely relevant.  And I truly enjoyed the program - it really shows that in each of our clubs' we have members who may not be the most gregarious or "extroverted" but they are a key component of what makes the Club successful. Fascinating story!  Would have loved to have been able to meet her Rabbi Grandfather and hear his perspective of things the way they are today.
John Wojcicki, RC of Edmonton, D-5370

Very awesome site, easy to use and a tremendous resource, very motivational.
Mike O'Connor, Swan City Rotary Club, D-5370

I particularly enjoyed the video on the value of Youth Exchange and the Introduction to your meeting. Another excellent meeting.
Robert Boyden, RC of Canmore, D-5360
