Rotary has been around for 112 years. It continues to flourish because dedicated, experienced Rotarians pass the torch to the next generation. I had the pleasure to watch one such Rotarian do just that. Tommi Drake, a long-time member of Rogue Gateway Rotary Club of Grants Pass, Oregon, is an artist by profession who uses welding as an art form.
She recently volunteered with Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans Organization and presented hand-made Rotary wheels to 3 young people in our organization as a way of telling them about Rotary service and how they can get involved. The beautiful Rotary wheels will be a constant reminder to them that they have a place in this world, where they can increase their global awareness and where they can serve others.

As a mental health practitioner, I loved the quote "When you are lost, it's difficult to feel special." Also, "Keep going until you find a source of unconditional love."
Velma Noble, RCCHP, Calgary, Alberta, D-5360

Wow, Sparsh Shah's story and his message was so powerful, coming from a 13 year old.  What wisdom he has at such an early age.  This was very moving for me to watch, I just had to share on my Facebook page!
Sharon Blaker, Rotary E-Club of Canada One, D-5370

I enjoyed the reminders of why I belong to a Rotary Club.
Wayne Lannon, Rotary Club of Westlock, Alberta, D-5370

13 year old "Impossible to I am possible" and his music and confidence are really outstanding. I also enjoyed Keith's Christmas Milk truck turned sleigh food collection volunteering where he is located. Where there is a will there is a way.
Lynne Ternosky, Rotary E-Club of Canada One, D-5370
