Achievement Beyond Obstacles

Larry joined Reno Central Rotary in 1992 and served as Sargent-at-Arms, Secretary and Board Member before serving as President from 2005-2006.  Currently Larry serves on the Reno Central Rotary Foundation Board as a Director and Secretary and serves on the International and Youth Services committees.  Larry is a member of the Achievement Beyond Obstacles (ABO) Executive Committee and currently mentors three ABO students.

Larry was born in Reno and graduated from University of Nevada with a degree in Civil Engineering and spent over 25 year as a construction manager building commercial projects throughout northern Nevada and California.  In 2000, Larry started a business focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy which he sold in 2014.

Larry has been married to Karen for 38 years and they have a twin son and daughter and 3 grandkids. Their hobbies include travel, wine and food pairing, camping and supporting Wolf Pack sports.  Larry played basketball and his daughter played volleyball for the University of Nevada.
