October 13 - The One Truckee River Initiative

On October 13, 2015 we will hear from Christi and Lynda regarding the The One Truckee River Initiative.

The One Truckee River Initiative was established as a partnership of Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and Nevada Land Trust to develop a comprehensive plan to protect and provide stewardship for the Truckee River across all jurisdictional boundaries. KTMB and NLT are acting as the lead agencies with the assistance and cooperation of a large group of Truckee River Stakeholders. This One River collaboration includes public and private partners working together to realize a Truckee River that flows clear and clean, quenches our thirst ,sustains the river's natural ecology, cultural resources and wildlife, and connects residents and visitors to unparalleled opportunities for recreation and regeneration.
