June 17 Club Membership Meeting: Tony Rucci, "Just Another Day at the White House...9/11/2001"

Tony Rucci is a military veteran and experienced security and counter-intelligence professional who will share his life changing experience on the fateful day of September 11, 2001 where he serve as the counter-intelligence operations officer for the White House director of security and while under the attacks moblized an immediate security response for the First Lady.

Tony has over 30 years of counter-intelligence and security experience and is a retired counter-intelligence special agent and US Army Warrant Officer (retired after 21 years of service) and currently owner of Root Technology, a cybersecurity company located here in Reno. Before leaving the White House in 2004, he was lead counter-intelligence officer for over 70 presidential visits to 90 foreign countries.

Tony and his wife, Pam, are "proud empty nesters" with adult son, Antonio II and live in, as he puts it, "Sunny Reno."
