July 18 - The 79th Legislative Session and the "New Nevada"

Our speaker today will be Matt Morris, Legislative Director, Office of Governor Brian Sandoval, who will be speaking on the 79th Legislative Session and the "New Nevada"

Matt received his law degree from UNLV’s Boyd School of Law, and graduated with honors from Nevada State College where he was an editor of the college newspaper. Prior to his tenure in Governor Sandoval’s office, Matt served as a Speechwriter and Research Assistant in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator Dean Heller, and he previously worked in Las Vegas as a representative in Heller’s local Congressional and Senate offices. Matt has been recognized with the 2017 Young Alumni Award from the Boyd School of Law, and is active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Jobs for America’s Graduates and as a volunteer with Northern Nevada Literacy Council.
