Hi Kathy,

Here are some pictures, student assignments and a short report for the SLT Rotary grant of $950 we received last September. We hope to do similar field trips this year to plant near Cold Creek. Is Sept still a good time to apply?

On October 16 and 17, 2012, the SPF held 2 forest field days with 170 6th graders from South Tahoe Middle School. The students planted 600 sugar pine seedlings and participated in a watershed education activity and an orienteering exercise. Attached are some photos and student reflections from the field trips.
