Rotary T-Shirt Marketing
What do these 5 upright Rotary members have in common? Each chose to wear a variation of Rotary's brand on their t-shirts to Monday's meeting. How does their choice help to market Rotary? By choosing to wear Rotary's brand, they are effective walking billboards, helping to further Quincy Rotary's marketing efforts! Who doesn't identify with these 5? Who doesn't want to be just like them? You got it - we all do! So pull out those Rotary shirts from the back of the closet. Wear them and you promote Rotary just by being you!
Last week's speaker
Bill Rodrick, Monday's speaker, is the new Superintendent of Plumas Unified School District. He is coming to PUSD from Lake County Office of Education serving 11,000 students. Bill is an advocate for all students. His vision of promoting a quality educational for all includes Opportunity Programs and he shared past programs that he helped develop including a partnership with NASA. He also helped cultivate a school vineyard that sold grapes to a co-op, and an olive grove that produced olives for marketable olive oil. He noted that with three weeks left before the start of a new school year, PUSD has 50 openings. He believes a "happy staff," who feels valued and respected, is the best resource for success.
