Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out what we toured at our last meeting, where we are headed to for our next meeting, who represented Quincy Rotary at REGL and who our Member of the Week is.
Touring PDH's Skilled Nursing Facility
Quincy Rotary was treated to a "Super" Soft Opening of Plumas District Hospital's Skilled Nursing Facility, thanks to Darren Beatty and JoDee Johnson. What a massive undertaking! It is a 5 out of 5 Star Facility!
Large windows provide light and a spectacular view for future residents of the facility.
The Skilled Nursing Dining room was inaugurated by Quincy Rotary.
Hallways are wide and provide plenty of space for gathering as Darren, Mimi and Kevin demonstrate.
The Main Lobby is warm and welcoming.
Julia Morrison - the Director of Nursing and Jeff Sheffield - Director of Facilities, along with JoDee provided a first rate "campus" tour.
The commercial kitchen is impressive.
REGL
At the beginning of the month, REGL - Rotary Eighth Grade Leadership program - brought together young leaders from District 5190's region. Quincy Rotary sent Emmett, Anden, Cooper and Chloe. According to the parents the kids had an awesome experience. The REGL group will present at a club meeting in the near future.
Next Week - Greenhorn
Next week's meeting is an Evening Social at Greenhorn Guest Ranch. The Fun starts at 5:30 pm with heavy appetizers and
B(buy) Y(your) O(own) Cocktails.
Let us not forget that a Club Photo will be snapped during the event. Wear Western Attire in a blue(ish) tone.
Member of the Week
