Mon. Feb. 27 - Quincy Club Speech Contest at PUSD Board Room - early start time @ 11:15 am - details to follow
Mon., March 13 - Quincy Club Music Contest & Dinner; 5:30 pm at Quincy Elementary School Alder campus, which has the best baby grand in the county!
Sat., March 18 - Area Speech & Music Contest hosted by Quincy Rotary, 10 am at the Methodist Church, which has the 2nd best piano in the county!
Fri., March 31 - Area Foundation Dinner hosted by Quincy Rotary, Mineral Building - details to follow
Announcements
The Board voted to donate $115 to RYLA's BikeProcess Revamp which pays for 1 child's bike (plus bike helmet) to be constructed at by RYLA participants and donated to a child in need.
The committee working on Rotary's annual GolfTournament, our biggest fundraiser of the year, will be asking for volunteers to work all-day on Saturday, May 6 - unless, of course, you are playing golf.
Last Week's Winner
Sarena Barker won $2500 from a ticket we think was sold to her by someone at Plumas Bank! Amy Carey helped pick the winning tickets for the annual
50/50 Raffle and she was one of the winners! No, she didn't pick her own ticket but she did win $1500! David Leonhardt scored $1000; Robin White $500; and $250 went to John Gay, Tim Reid, and Jenna Peay.
