Amy Carey from Quincy Provisions (et al) shared the floor with Tara and Joe McKeown owners of a new shop - Comfort Creations. Amy, Tara and Joe have established shops within shops, sharing retail space with others, to market a wider variety of goods and share the costs to make a profit. At Amy's store, buyers can grab a coffee or lunch, yummy baked goods, gifts and candy - lots of chocolate candy! Tara and Joe in the past went to craft fairs throughout California and Nevada selling their leatherwork like belts and wallets. Tiring of the heavy lifting and long drives, they found a small building on Lawrence Street and invited other crafters to rent spaces where they can sell their quilts, knitted hats, jewelry, lotions and potions. Both are examples of One Stop Shopping. Stop by and spend locally. Both shops rely on us local buyers to support them.
