Plumas County Planning Director
Plumas County Planning Director, Tracey Ferguson, once again spoke to Quincy Rotary which is always informative. Tracy just marked her 5th year in Plumas County, and during that time, she feels like she is impacting lives. She updated QR about the PUSD School Impact Fees fiasco, which has been rescinded. She revealed that a new medical campus and pharmacy will be housed in the Greenville Rancheria, open to all, and located in a complex in the town center. New charging stations are being installed in Quincy and public bathrooms are slated for the Lawry House next to the library and maybe in Dame Shirley Plaza.
Tracey is energetic, positive and a definite Plus for Plumas County.

Meet & Greet the New DG!
Welcome District Governor Dennis Geare as he takes the reins of District 5190 for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. Dennis will visit Quincy Rotary, Monday, Nov. 4. On that day, QR Board members are asked to calendar a morning meeting with the DG from 10 am to noon - any member is welcome to join that meeting. Then, Dennis will join QR for the regular lunch meeting.
