Bowling is Fun in Your Spare Time
Quincy Rotary lunched outdoors at Sierra BellaLanes on Cinco de Mayo. Owners Scott and Shandel Sutherland prepared a Mexican feast, talked about their renovations, and gave us a tour of the backend of the operation which was fascinating. This vintage bowling alley, with original wood lanes, just installed the Edge Strings, the latest in pinsetter technology. Auto Scoring adds to the upgrade experience.
This spring and summer eat outside, or in, at their restaurant, pop into the sports bar to watch a game, or escape the heat indoors and bowl.
They are open Wednesday through Saturday currently. Their goal is to offer fun family entertainment, tasty food and real human connection to the community of Quincy and beyond.

Plumas County BOS Update with Mimi
Quincy Rotary's own Mimi Hall is the speaker this Monday, May 12. She will provide an Plumas County Board of Supervisor's update.
Then the following two Mondays - May 19 & 26 - there will be no meetings. The annual Golf Tournament counts as a meeting.
Member of the Week
Rick L. has worked hard to schedule workers for the Golf Tournament on Saturday May 17. If you aren't playing, you should be working. Sign-up at this Monday's meeting if you haven't already - it's only for 1/2 a day!
