Rotarians Beth, John, Karen K., Sarah, Karen P. & Kory plus Steve all paraded while Lisa waved from her perch in the Pierson's T-Bird!
Rotary Wins Blue Ribbon
Quincy Rotary marched into First Place in the Plumas-Sierra County Fair Parade for the group/club entries! Our enthusiastic Troupe included our REGL & RYLA students who passed out candy donated by Rotarians Adam & Tara M. from Grocery Outlet. Karen & Dwight Pierson volunteered their vintage blue T-Bird which was perfectly polished. While Dwight took photos, Karen drove Madam Prez Lisa K. down Main Street. Following were a handful of Rotarians including Karen K., Kory, Sarah G., John S., and Steve H. And Beth R. rode in the T-Bird playing the Rotary Song. Our entry focused on the good work we do for local youth - Rotary Field, leadership camps, student exchanges.
Thank you all who participated and for all the Rotarians in the crowd who cheered us to Victory!

Remember this Monday, August 7, we are back in the Mineral Building. Hopefully the place is aired out after hosting multiple rescue animals in a Fair Display! Rotarian Rick Leonhardt will be speaking about Regenerative Agriculture. FYI, Rick is FRC's new Professor of Ag, swapping Business for the barn.
Jeb Gets Pinned
It's never too late to get a Rotary pin! Instead of being pinned at the Demotion Dinner (see article below), President Elect Jeb Heiman officially got pinned by President Lisa on Monday.
