Jon has been a member of QR and he and his new business partner - and wife - offer a look into building a small business in Quincy this coming Monday, June 15th. Foundation Giving
New Rotary Foundation Chair, David Little, presented an overview at Monday's meeting about the significance of Rotary International Foundation giving. The mission of the Foundation is that "The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
What impact can one donation have?
$3 is the average cost to fully protect a child against polio.
$50 can maintain water filters to help fight waterborne illness.
$200 to develop work opportunities by replacing livestock for people impacted by disasters.
David took over the leadership of Quincy Rotary's Foundation giving. David Windle was the chair for many years and was passionate about his role.
