Last week's speaker

Dr. Satterfield presented on public health issues related to Covid in Plumas County. He equated it to being at war, but our enemy is invisible. He attributed the increase of covid cases to the presence of fire fighters and the number of individuals whose lives had been disrupted due to wild fires. He acknowledged that people were weary of the pandemic which has affected us all for 20 months. He urged the continued use of masks for everyone and getting vaccinated. He urged everyone eligible to also get the booster.
Member of the Week
Fred Surber is our member of the week! He successfully organized the Highway Clean up with 6 Rotarians working hard to clean up Highway 70.
