Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find what we covered during the last weekly meeting and what is planned for the upcoming month.
Vacation Time But Keep Rotary on Your Mind!
Summer is here which means vacation time for many of us. But let's not forget our sacred Rotary Mondays as we pack our cars for the weekend!
Vow to return in time for that bell to ring us to order on Rotary Monday. The purpose of Rotary's attendance requirement is to foster fellowship among Rotarians. Fellowship serves as an incentive for attracting new members to Rotary and retaining our existing members. Good fellowship grows best with good attendance. And it makes for a dynamic Rotary Club.
See you Monday!

Last Week's Speaker
Sierra Blanton-Rader grew up in Quincy, left at 18 to pursue a singing-song writing career in Nashville, returned to Quincy in 2018 with a family in toe, and filled the role of Executive Director of Plumas Health Care Fundation when Tiffany Leonhardt transitioned to a new PDH job. Sierra speaks for the fundrasing arm of the hospital which is committed to the growth of PDH. Two of these commitments involve the future Skilled Nursing facility and the Alternative Birthing Center. Both projects bring essential healthcare services to the local community.
Sierra announced the 12th Annual Starry MountainNights event, held at the Morrison Ranch Barn this year on Saturday, Sept. 23. The event, with dinner, music and community recognition, serves as the "fundraising pillar" for the Foundation. Starry Mountain Nights raises community awareness around the current and future PDH projects which help Quincy thrive.
