Last week's speaker
Rotarian David Windle gave a thorough explanation of the Rotary Foundation. He stated that 89.8% of all contributions go directly to help our clubs. He explained how the funds come back to our clubs in the form of grants. He was proud to report that 5 of our club members have pledged to give $1000 this year., and most members give at the sustaining level of $100 per year. He also explained how easy it is to leave a legacy gift. He also explained how points are accumulated and how they may be used to honor others.
Member of the Week
Jim Boland is our member of the week for his service in distributing dictionaries to all 3rd graders alongside Lieutenant Chris Parent and Sergeant Rick Marin, organizing the Salvation Army bell ringing campaign, and his active recruitment of new members.
