Welcome to a new year for Quincy Rotary. The club "inaugurated" a new president, Jeb Heiman, a new/old board and a new Rotary message. Rotary International President-elect Stephanie Urchick announced the 2024-25 presidential theme -TheMagic of Rotary. The theme emphasizes the transformative power of Rotary's work around the world as well as in our own community. Urchick says, "You create the magic with every project completed, every dollar donated, and every new member. Our challenge in QR this year, and every year, is to make magic happen!
Presidential Inauguration
Quincy Rotary's presidential inaugural meetings are renowned as was President Jeb's on Monday. Rotarians ate, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang, prayed, and walked. This annual Walk-Out meeting was held at the Rotary B.B.Q. spot at Gansner Park - men at one table with a few women scattered at the other table. Thankfully, the old trees in Gansner provided plenty of shade from the hot sun and Caron provided a delicious lunch.

Sat., July 27 - Fair Parade - Here is the opportunity to show the community the Magic of Quincy Rotary. The theme is Mountains of Memories. The Piersons have donated the use of their T-Bird and Rotarians - dressed like hikers - will carry banners and signs informing the parade go-ers what Rotary does.
All walkers meet behind Safeway at 9:30 am with navy shirts, shorts, hiking poles if you have them, a backpack if you have one and enthusiasm. Family members are welcome to walk! This is a family affair.
