The President of the Greenville Club John Banks has set up a gofundme account for Greenville. He has raised $40,000 toward his $100,000 goal.
Greg Hagwood, fellow Rotarian and a member of the County Board of Supervisors provided us an overview and update on the Dixie Fire. He urged us all to pace ourselves, and develop a mindset to avoid exhaustion He explained the difference between federal and state support. He made a suggestion that fires be fought aggressively at the beginning to prevent them from spreading and growing out of control.
Karen Kleven is our member of the week. She has secured several timely speakers and invited 5 guests, some of whom are considering joining our club. Thanks Karen for all your hard work and dedication to Quincy Rotary!
