Perfect Weekend for a Golf Tournament
And the Winners were...Johnny Mansell's foursome including Johnny, Jon Dvorak, Eddie Mutch, and Marcus Tracy. The rumor is they used a bunch of Mulligans!
Perfect weather this year brought out 37 teams. Brenda says she collected $5,935 just on Saturday for Mulligans, the Raffle, Registration and the Pitching Contest. The total dollar amount is still to be determined for QR Biggest Fundraiser of the Year! Thanks for all who helped in our efforts.

The Meaning of Kinship
Monday evening was the perfect example of the kinship felt in Quincy Rotary. Rotarian Kevin C., wife Valerie, Kevin's mom and staff member Dilley hosted a special night at their Kinship Ranch - their destination wedding venue in Cromberg. With beautiful vistas and a horse trailer bar, Rotarians - with their spouses, moms, and grandchildren - feasted on delicious bbq from Sierra Smoke Show (on Bonta St. in Blairsden). Kevin gave a heart felttalk, we wandered the grounds, we communed and felt lucky to be invited to such a special place.

Highlights from the District Conference
Andy Ryback and David Little were both able to attend the District 5190 Conference in Reno over the weekend - and play in the Golf Tournament! Andy shared his photos of the event. New Rotarian Mark Leonhardt's son Matt participated in the Speech contest and placed fourth. Pretty sure Mark and his dad Chuck made it to the Conference to support Matt.
