De-Motion

Quincy Rotary said Good-bye to past president, Lisa, and Hello to new president Jeb at Monday's Demotion Dinner.

MC Jim B. wrote and delivered a masterful Roast razzing Lisa while Karen P. with the help of John S. wrote point-on lyrics to the tune of Tradition (see song lyrics below). The Quincy Rotary Singers, including Karen P., Beth R., Jim B.'s wife Gloria, Dwight P. and John S., belted out "Herdition" and "Matchmaker" and Canadian Mountains Herschel and Darren escorted Lisa out of the building - all such talented Rotarians! One of the best shows Quincy has seen!

It is the Tradition of Quincy Rotary to host a Demotion Dinner to commemorate the passing of one president to the next. A bit bittersweet, the evening was filled with good food, fun and fellowship!

Quincy Rotary passes the Presidential Pin from one president to the next at the Demotion Dinner. Lisa is demoted and Jeb is pinned (Yikes)!

Canadian Mounties Darren and Herschel assisted with demoting Lisa - out of the building!

The Past Board and the Present Board. All have agreed to continue.

Lisa included her good friend Josh Huddelston as her guest.

Rotarians brought spouses and friends to the Demotion Dinner (and a show).

We learned on Monday, that Board member and first female QR president, Brenda Roccucci, seen her with Lisa and her mom, is relocating to Chester - Quincy Rotary will miss her dedication to the club.
