Jr. Livestock Auction at Plumas-Sierra County Fair
It's that time of year when American Valley 4-H visits Quincy Rotary to promote their livestock projects and invite members to attend the Junior Livestock Auction at the Plumas-Sierra County Fair on Sunday, July 26 at 9 am.
An outing to the Plumas-Sierra County Fair isn't complete without a stop at the barns to see the animals. Pigs, lambs, beef, chickens, and lots of goats greet fairgoers with oinks, baas, moos, clucks, and more baas. The 4-H'ers might even let you pet their animals. The kids work hard throughout the year, raising their animals and learning how to market them, culminating at the auction on the last day of the fair. You can show your support of these future leaders by bidding on an animal project.

CHP Commander Comes to Rotary
The new CHP Commander for Quincy, Marc Peachy, speaks to Rotary this Monday, July 27. QR hopes that he will join Rotary so be on your best behavior. Just kidding, but do chat him up. It's good to get a CHP in the club.
