Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out about our upcoming event and what we covered during the last weekly meeting.
Halloween Party
I was told, "When given the opportunity, wear a costume."
Monday, Oct. 30 is your opportunity to do just that at the Rotary Halloween Dinner. You might even win a great prize! Planned that evening is a magic show, a Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin Contest (think prize!), a Halloween Trivia Contest (again - prize!), and football. Yes, the Raiders game will be on the big screen! Drinks and magic tricks start at 5:30 pm.
I'd say, "See you there," but I might not recognize you in your costume!

Local Hub Bub
Last week's speakers - Lara Wheeler, John Steffanic, & Clint Koble gave a broad overview on the Indian Valley Innovation Hub founded as part of the Dixie Fire Recovery program.
IVIH's mission is "to cultivate a new wave of export-ready products from Plumas County." The Hub provides support services to product makers specifically - think small business education, technical assistance, and financing through loans and grants.
Woodworkers, jewelry makers, agricultural producers, food & drink makers, apparel makers plus many more artisans and producers benefit from IVIH. The key criteria - all products must be made, grown, raised, manufactured, or transformed in Plumas County!
