Visit the Women's Expo 
Shelby Janea shared her compelling story with Quincy Rotary about why she founded The Women of Plumas County Facebook Group. This group is a community-led group of local women and those who visit often. WOPC encourages in-person social gatherings for women and is a safe space to take the first step, putting yourself out there.
 
August 9, 2026 these women are taking over the Plumas/Sierra County Fairgrounds for the first annual Women’s Expo! Come shop, network and learn about all the various women-owned and led organizations across our area!

District 5190 Governor Larry Harvey presented an award to the outgoing Area 2 Governor David Little. Since David was celebrating his anniversary in Hawaii, the incoming AG Mike Summerfield accepted the award in David's behalf.
