Mike Flanigan recruited a highly competent team to score scholarship applications including Herschel Beail, Jim Boland, John Sheehan, and Sarah Gallagher. The lucky winners included Kayla Thackeray, Gaia Nelson, and David Leonhardt. Each recipient received a $500 academic scholarship!

Scott McCallum, Executive Director of Plumas Resource Center provided us with an update on his agency's purchase of Pangaea as well as the downtown trailer park. Scott presented himself as a Quincy "native" with a diverse background and a heart for helping others. He explained the various aspects of agency along with its many funding streams and how they acquire property.
Member of the Week
Mike Flanagan worked swiftly and behind the scenes to determine scholarship winners in time for the QHS awards ceremony. Note, Mike has since gotten a haircut and looks much younger now!
