Remember - no meetings the next two Mondays, November 14 in honor of Veteran's Day and 21 for Thanksgiving!
However - Mark down Wednesday, November 23. Brenda R. is taking sign-ups (of show-up) for Thanksgiving Meal Deliveries. Meet at the Safeway Deli at 3:30 pm. The more who can help, the more efficient the deliveries. Plus, you will make someone's Thanksgiving better.

Bill Roderick, new Superintendent of PUSD, signed the papers to become a Quincy Rotarian! Welcome Bill!
And a loud Thank You to Darren Beatty, Pete Hochrein, Brenda Roccucci, Bill Elliott, Mike Flanigan and their fearless leader, Dwight Pierson, for organizing and stocking the Quincy Elementary School's Rotary Closet. As the snow starts falling, local "kids who go without" will be given warm parkas, snow boots, comfy clothes, socks and sundries.
Last Week's REGL Speakers
Such a great group of 8th Graders from Quincy Junior/Senior High School were chosen as Quincy Rotary's REGL reps - Skylar McCarthy, Marleigh Merino, Lyla Rood, Copper Driscoll, Jamison Ritchie-Compton, and Ben DeLamontanya represented us well at September's Leadership Camp. On Monday, the group spoke about being struck by the new people they met at REGL and how they gained each other's trust quickly through the guided activities like the Ropes Course. The kids were selected by QHS faculty and staff for demonstrating leadership qualities. In return, these young people have begun the Gratitude initiative at their school, where each month one of their staff or faculty are recognized for hard work with a poster card and flowers. It is evident that REGL creates an impact!

Dwight Pierson has been a busy Rotarian. Let's thank
him for his tireless work on the Triangle Improvement project, the schools' Rotary Closets, and the Highway Clean-up. And don't forget for his rendition of "The Monster Mash" at the Halloween Party!
