Stacy's visit to Quincy Rotary inspired. She is 100% about Rotary. Every part of her message is Rotary. As she says, "Rotary is the only non-profit service organization in the world that recognizes what you do."
Stacy is an auto mechanic, or technician. She owns 2 succcessful auto shops in Auburn. It's easy to see why she is successful - because she is trustworthy. Why should we trust her? Because she is a Rotarian. And that means something as we make our way out into the day, we carry the Rotary brand with us. People notice.
Stacy encouraged us to sign up now for the District Conference slated for May 17-19, 2024 at Reno's Grand Sierra. District 5190 is hosting along with the San Francisco and Sacramento Rotary Clubs. She guarantees a family friendly vibe and low prices. And, ta-ta - the Conference Speaker is the RI President Gordon McInally - the Scottish guy! Gordon speaks Saturday evening, and will meet anyone for coffee on Sunday morning.
Stacy pointed out that Rotarians are "better together" like at the conference. And this conference is "our conference." We are invited to "come as we are." "Tell our stories."
Stacy is a dynamo, and on Monday, we all walked away a little more inspired, a little more committed, and a little bit in awe.
