Last Week's Speaker(s)
Darren Beatty, with Tiffany Leonhardt's assist, gave an excellent overview on the future Skilled Nursing Facility coming to Quincy's Plumas District Hospital by 2025 - fingers crossed X. One slide which didn't make it into the presentation was on the Cost of the endeavor so it is included here:

The Cost
  • Total project cost estimated at $39,250,000
  • Hard construction costs $32,000,000
  • Sources:
          * USDA Loan - $32,950,000
          * Measure A, Series C  - $1,500,000
          * USDA Grant - $1,200,000
          * District Operations - $1,100,000
          * Municipal Lease - $2,500,000

Not a cheap build, yet the future Skilled Nursing Facility at PDH is a huge advancement for the Quincy Community. Kudos to the hospital staff including Darren and Tiffany!
REGL Wranglers
These snapshots sent to President Darren capture the enthusiasm of our volunteer Rotarian camp "wranglers" - Andy Ryback, David Little, and Karen Pierson - at the recent REGL camp. In a few weeks the local REGL 8th Graders share their own stories at Rotary.
Member of the Week
Karen Pierson is Quincy Rotary's Member of the Week for her tireless service at Rotary events like last week REGL camp for 8th graders.
