Last week's speaker
Guests this week included Beth Reid, Holly George, Sally McGowan, Clare Churchill, and Vanessa Vasquez. All guests were invited to consider joining our club.

Kristen Quade from PCIRC spoke about the services offered by their agency to fire victims and those who have been evacuated.  Information has been gathered from 223 families so far who are seeking housing and other assistance. Partnerships have been developed with the LDS Church as well as the county and the Veteran's services.  Les Schwab and the Grocery Outlet have assisted in food distribution.  She stated that evacuees in Portola were yet to receive any supplies but that there were agencies working to reach out.  Food is being prepared and delivered but immediate housing is not yet available.  FEMA assistance is being pursued through the Governor's office. There is an account set up at Plumas Bank for donations.. It was suggested  that the Housing Authority could assist.  Those with airbnb units are encouraged to contact PCIRC at Kquade@PCIRC.com
