What to Expect from the Quincy Chamber
You already might know that the Quincy Chamber ofCommerce is responsible for bringing Quincy such events as:
Groundhog Fever Festival
The Plumas-Sierra County Fair Parade
Safe Trick-or-Treat
Sparkle & Light Parade
But it is so much more QR learned Monday when Chamber reps - Cheryl Kolb and Clint Koble - spoke at Monday's meeting.
Since moving to 493 Main Street in Quincy (the old Quincy Drug building), the Chamber is also home to the Quincy Hub along with the Plumas County Visitor Center, a Made-in-Plumas County store and a business resource center which was part of the Indian Valley Innovation Hub.
It's open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. Check out the products sold in the store including jewelry, clothing, leather goods, skin care, furniture and food.
One of the Chamber's goals is to increase the vibrancy of downtown Quincy, and you can help by suppporting the Quincy Hub, home to the Quincy Chamber and so much more.

Darryl Swarm - Library Director at Feather River College - was "sworn" into Quincy Rotary. He might look familiar because he was a former Quincy Rotarian who has rejoined the club. Welcome back to the club, Darryl.
Speech Contest
Monday is the Annual Quincy Rotary Speech Contest for high school students. The photo on the right shows last year's participants. We look forward to hearing what young people have to say on this year's theme:
“The Magic of Rotary"
How have you or how will you ‘Work YOUR Magic’ in your own community in one or more of the seven areas that Rotary supports?
Member of the Week
Shout out to Mark Leonhardt for steppping in as the lead organizer for TheQuincy Elementary Rotary Closet and stocking it with insulated boots, warm coats, sweats, and sweaters - items for kids in need to keep them warm in the winter!
