A Warm Welcome to New Members
Quincy Rotary is pleased to announce the induction of four new members, all prominent local entrepreneurs: Wendy, dance instructor, Wayne Yates, attorney and husband of Wendy, Frank Carey, Fire Chief and co-owner of Quincy Provisions with his wife Amy and Rick Fletcher, real estate broker.
Wendy & Wayne Yates helped sell 50/50 tickets for Rotary at the Groundhog Festival.
Rick Fletcher returned to Quincy after a career in the military to take over his mother Jan's real estate business.
Frank C. also served in the military before finding Quincy and making it home.

Wednesday, March 18
The previously cancelled Music Contest has been rescheduled for an EVENING meeting on a Wednesday. So there is no Monday lunch meeting on March 16. The evening, at the Quincy Elementary Alder Campus, begins with dinner at 5:30 pm and the performance follows at 6 pm. We are excited to have four contestants competing. Let's show them support by attending the event!
Friday, April 10
The District FoundationDinner. More information to follow shortly.
Saturday, April 11
The District Speech & Music Contest, from 10 am til noon, will be at the Quincy Catholic Church meeting hall. Again, let's show these young contestants our support by attending their competition. Light refreshments provided.
Saturday, May 16
The annual Quincy Rotary Golf Tournament. The ol'adage says, "If you aren't playing, you're working." It's a fun time either way, as long as it isn't snowing!
Next Week's Speaker
Podiatry is the treatment of the feet and their ailments. The podiatrist at Plumas District Hospital Juan C. Martinez, DPM - will be presenting at next Monday's meeting. Bring your questions and concerns!
