Welcome to the last issue of this year's weekly bulletin! July 2023 marks a new year with a new president and board. Monday we bid a fond farewell to Darren Beatty who led us with good humor and good intentions. Thank you Darren for always being there!
At Monday's Demotion Dinner, technology guaranteed Quincy Rotary's successful Presidential transition. While in Mexico, a Zoomed-in new president Lisa Kelly was pinned remotely by past president Darren Beatty. Thanks to Steve Hill, the technology worked!
The night's M.C. Jim Boland, with Darren's wife Mara, wore an FBI cap - in memory of Bob Edwards who gave the hat to Jim. Future President Jeb Heiman poses with wife Lindsay and Julie Hochrein, wife of Pete, and below with Brenda along with Darren's great friend Beau Blanton.

This week marked the passing of a past Rotarian - Siegfried Fiolka - whose smiling face and unique humor will be missed. He served in Quincy Rotary from 2013 until 2020 when his family relocated from the area. Siegfried may be gone from our sight, but never our hearts.
New Corporate Members
Welcomed into Quincy Rotary as new members on Monday were Adam and Tara Mazzella - owners of Grocery Outlet - and the first Corporate Members! That is a new option for businesses with multiple owner/operators.
